Mirrors is an experimental, ambient & new music festival based in Hackney.
Looking for a rebrand, creating a look that was contemporary and playful was important to distinguish a rebirth of the event. Taking a literal concept prompted by the name ‘Mirror’, the interface of the re-brand exhibits soft reflections, organic compositions, oval cut-out’s that are recognisable across various printed and digital assets.

Record Label ec2a is pioneering the current UK Bass scene. Connecting with Dr. Dubplate in 2022 has provided an opportunity to allow me to design for a niche, yet large audience. Designing in this sense has encouraged making cultural connections through visual artworks, taking cues and references from music and subculture in order to engage and relate to subcultures.

The Dance Deficiency

This project explores the domino effect of the COVID19 pandemic on club culture, which I coined in this project as - 'The Dance Deficiency'.
Exploring techno-utopianism in electronic music, I found a striking contrast with the dystopian feel of the COVID-19 era. This duality fuels the heart of this project, offering a hopeful vision of dancing amid euphoric Scottish landscapes and captured through auspicious figure photography.

Devine Tensions presents: Steamin’

Gaining immense noteriety within a local rural area, creating professional looking visuals for Devine Tension's monthly drag show was a crucial step in aligning with the expansion of their brand.
Inspired by the vibrant world of Clubland, the art of Drag, and the allure of "Sparkle," a flamboyant visual identity was produced to align with Devine's creative vision. Drawing from the aesthetic of the early 2000s, we incorporated custom Y2K typography, rhinestone stickers, and background patterns to evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of unforgettable nights spent with close friends.
